About Me

Who are you?

I'm a lawyer who loves to quilt! I started quilting in November 2007 while I was in law school and I felt that my sanity was slipping away. My Nana got a new sewing machine and gave her old one to my mom....who let it sit in her dining room untouched. I somehow decided that I needed to make a quilt. Perhaps it was the freezing temperatures of Philadelphia in the winter and my lack of good heating in my run-down West Philadelphia apartment....but whatever it was, I started quilting and haven't looked back since!

What kind of machine do you use?

I now have a slightly better machine than the hand-me-down from my Nana, but it's nothing elaborate. I work on a simple Kenmore machine from Sears. One day I'll get something fancier but I'm so used to my machine I'm resisting it.

What is Sarang?

Sarang is the Korean word for love - and I think it exemplifies how I feel about quilting and crafting. If there isn't any love in your work, it's really not worth making!

Where are you located?

I currently live in Maryland with my husband (who is usually the person holding up my quilts in all photos), our cat named Justice and dog, Zee.

Do you ever sell your quilts?

Send me an email and we can chat!
